Intro
Halfdan DA is an unmanned satellite wellhead platform in the Halfdan complex of the Danish North Sea. It produces oil and gas from the Halfdan chalk reservoir and exports to the main Halfdan hub (Halfdan A/B) for processing.
Field
The Halfdan field is a major chalk oil and gas field discovered in 1998, developed with bridge-linked platforms (A, B) and unmanned satellites like DA tying back to central processing.
Facilities
Halfdan DA comprises drilled well slots and limited topside equipment for production and control. It exports multiphase flow via subsea pipelines to Halfdan A/B facilities where three-phase separation, gas compression, water handling and export occur. Local utilities include emergency systems and remote telemetry; all major processing and export routing are at the hub.
