Intro
Halfdan C is an unmanned fixed steel satellite platform in the Halfdan complex, providing wellhead and support functions tied back to the larger Halfdan A/B hub. It was commissioned in the early 2000s and operates remotely from the Halfdan B control center.
Field
As part of the Halfdan field development, Halfdan C accesses portions of the chalk reservoir, with production tied into the main Halfdan processing hubs. Its unmanned design streamlines operations for satellite wells.
Facilities
Halfdan C’s infrastructure consists of a wellhead and separation platform without dedicated accommodation. Drilled wells feed hydrocarbons via subsea pipeline to the Halfdan A/B processing complex. Support systems are limited to remote well control, power distribution, and telemetry provided from the host platforms. There is no independent export termination: all fluids are routed through interconnected piping to Halfdan A/B for separation, compression and export. Utility systems include emergency power, instrumentation, and linkages into the Halfdan hub’s control and safety networks.
