Intro
K15-FK-1 is a fixed jacket satellite platform in Block K15 of the Dutch Southern North Sea, added in 2002. It ties back production from nearby reservoir wells to central hubs (K15-FA-1 / K15-FB-1) for processing and export.
Field
Situated within the K15 portion of the K14-K18 gas province, the platform gathers conventional natural gas from Rotliegendes sandstone and feeds it into the broader field’s infrastructure for processing and export.
Facilities
K15-FK-1’s infrastructure consists of wellflow manifolds and subsea pipelines that connect to central K15 platforms. It does not house significant processing equipment; separation and conditioning occur at host facilities. Essential structural features are a fixed jacket supporting risers, subsea tie-backs, safety shutdown valves and remote control systems. Utilities are minimal, supported from the host platform.
