Intro

Dan FE is a wellhead support platform in the Dan field’s F complex, installed in 1986. It provides additional well slots feeding the Dan FC processing hub and does not contain significant processing facilities.

Field

The platform accesses hydrocarbons from the Dan field’s Upper Cretaceous chalk reservoir, contributing to the field’s extensive multi-platform well network tied into Dan FC.

Facilities

Dan FE comprises wellhead decks with multiple drilled wells connected to Dan FC’s processing trains. It has remote power for well control, safety systems, and communications linking the platform into the Dan F complex. Fluids are routed via bridge pipelines to Dan FC for three-phase separation and export preparation. Utility infrastructure focuses on integration: emergency shutdowns, fire and gas detection, and telemetry for remote operations. Major utilities and processing functions reside on Dan FC, which conditions oil and gas for export via Gorm E (oil) and Tyra East (gas). Subsea ties and control cables support inter-platform operations.
