Intro

Atlantis is a deepwater semi-submersible production platform in the Gulf of Mexico, producing oil and gas since 2007. It is one of the largest floating production facilities in the region, serving as a central hub for multiple subsea wells and tie-back developments.

Field

The Atlantis field is located in the Green Canyon area of the Gulf of Mexico. It produces from Miocene-age turbidite sandstones. The field is large-scale, with multiple reservoirs and extensive subsea infrastructure supporting long-term production.

Facilities

Atlantis includes a semi-submersible production platform connected to numerous subsea wells via flowlines and manifolds. Facilities include multi-stage separation systems, gas compression, and produced water treatment. Oil is exported via pipeline, while gas is transported through offshore networks. The platform includes water injection systems and extensive subsea control infrastructure. Power generation is provided by gas turbines. The system is designed for high throughput and includes redundancy for reliability.
