Intro

The Tiffany Platform is a fixed steel jacket oil and gas production platform in the Central North Sea, commissioned in the early 1990s. It processes crude oil and associated gas from the Tiffany field and nearby subsea tie-backs, and exports primarily oil through regional pipeline infrastructure to onshore terminals.

Field

The Tiffany field is a conventional oil and gas accumulation in UK Blocks 16/17 and adjacent, producing from Jurassic sandstone reservoirs. Discovered in 1979, the field was developed as a standalone platform with subsea ties. The field’s fluids are typical of North Sea crude with associated gas, integrated into broader export systems.

Facilities

Tiffany comprises a fixed steel jacket with topside modules for well support, separation, metering and export interfaces. Multiple production wells feed a separator train that splits crude, gas and water. Crude is stabilized and routed into the UK offshore pipeline network, typically through the Brae/Forties system for delivery to Cruden Bay or Sullom Voe. Associated gas is conditioned (dehydration/compression) and exported via the SAGE or adjacent gas systems. Utilities on Tiffany include platform-based power generation, chemical injection for hydrate and corrosion control, instrument air, fire/gas systems and control rooms. Produced water is treated and discharged per regulatory limits. All facilities are designed for continuous offshore operations with remote monitoring and scheduled maintenance, and helicopter access supports crew changes.
