Intro
Cleeton CPQ is the bridge-linked primary processing and accommodation platform within the Cleeton hub, commissioned in 1988. It performs core gas treatment (separation, dehydration), initial condensate handling, and houses personnel support facilities. CPQ integrates with the Wellhead tower and CC compression platform for full field processing and export.
Field
The Cleeton gas field is in UK Block 42/29, producing from Permian Leman Sandstone reservoirs. The field began production in 1988 and later evolved into a hub receiving gas from adjacent discoveries. CPQ supports aggregate field production and conditioning prior to compression and export to the Dimlington gas terminal.
Facilities
CPQ accommodates high-pressure well fluids from the wellhead tower (CW) and satellite tie-ins. It contains three-phase separators to remove liquids, dehydrators to remove water vapor, condensate coalescers, and produced water treatment. Gas is conditioned for compression on CC; condensate is metered and exported or reinjected as required. CPQ provides utilities including diesel or gas-turbine generators, electrical distribution, lighting, firewater and deluge systems, and HVAC for accommodation modules. The platform’s control room monitors and automates processing and safety systems across the hub. Export metering and batching systems ensure accurate custody transfer to the Dimlington terminal. The accommodation module supports operations staff, with lifeboats and helideck facilities. Interconnecting bridges provide access to connected platforms and facilitate maintenance operations. The topsides integrate piping, valves, heat exchangers, and safety relief systems sized for long-term processing demands.
