Intro

34/7 HY07 is a floating offshore wind turbine forming part of the Hywind Tampen array in the Norwegian North Sea. Installed by 2023, it contributes to the supply of renewable electricity to nearby oil and gas installations.

Field

The Hywind Tampen wind farm is located near the Snorre and Gullfaks fields, which are long-producing oil and gas developments in the Norwegian sector of the North Sea.

Facilities

HY07 consists of a spar-type floating foundation, offshore wind turbine, and subsea power export system. It operates unmanned with remote monitoring and control, focusing solely on electrical power generation and export.
