Intro
Nini B (also called Nini East) is a fixed steel wellhead platform in the Danish North Sea commissioned in 2010 to develop the eastern part of the Nini field. It produces oil and ties its well fluids to the Siri SCA platform for processing. Like Nini A, it lacks independent separation facilities and is unmanned.
Field
The Nini field’s east and west areas are part of a satellite development northeast of Siri. The reservoir is Paleocene/Eocene sandstone, with wells drilled from Nini A and Nini B feeding into the Siri host for processing.
Facilities
Nini B’s infrastructure is confined to a fixed steel wellhead platform with production wells drilled into the field’s eastern accumulation. The platform exports multiphase flow via subsea pipeline to Siri SCA for separation and water handling. There is no onboard separation or gas handling; remote power generation supports well control, safety systems and communications. Nini B is unmanned, relying on remote monitoring from Siri and routine maintenance visits. Export connectivity includes surface and subsea pipelines with umbilicals for control and injection functions. Supporting systems include basic electrical distribution, emergency power, and instrumentation for downhole and topside operations.
