Intro

The Jasmine Wellhead Platform (WHP) is a fixed steel well-slot platform in the Jasmine gas/condensate field in the UK Central North Sea, commissioned in 2013. It hosts production wells and exports hydrocarbons via a subsea multiphase bundle to the Judy riser and processing platform. It is bridge-linked to the Jasmine LQ for accommodation and support systems.

Field

The Jasmine field lies in Blocks 30/6 and 30/7a of the Central North Sea with high-pressure, high-temperature gas/condensate reservoirs in Triassic Joanne sandstone. Discovered in 2006, the field achieved first production in November 2013, developed with a WHP and riser/bridge infrastructure tied back to the Judy processing platform.

Facilities

The Jasmine WHP comprises a jacket and topsides housing multiple production well slots (24 slots) drilled into the reservoir. It includes wellheads, Xmas trees, flow control and chemical injection points for corrosion and hydrate management. Production fluids are routed into a multiphase pipeline bundle to the Judy Riser Platform where primary separation and conditioning occur before full processing on Judy. The WHP integrates safety systems including ESD, fire & gas detection, and isolation valves. Utilities include power distribution, instrument air, and bridge-linked control and communication systems to the Jasmine LQ and Judy. Export infrastructure consists of a bundled multiphase pipeline (~4.1 km) and umbilicals for power/control. Venting and flare systems are sized for HP/HT operations. The platform design reflects HP/HT reservoir demands with robust well control and flow assurance capabilities.
