Intro
Halfdan CA is an unmanned wellhead platform in the Halfdan field, Danish North Sea, commissioned circa 2008 to access northeast reservoir wells. It is remotely operated and tied back to Halfdan B processing facilities.
Field
As part of the Halfdan oil and gas field development, Halfdan CA gathers fluids from additional wells drilled into the northeast extents of the chalk reservoir. It contributes to field drainage alongside main installations Halfdan A and B.
Facilities
Halfdan CA comprises well slots and manifold headers for production wells, with minimal processing. It sends hydrocarbons via subsea flowlines and riser ties to the Halfdan B complex for main separation, dehydration and export conditioning. Remote power and communications are supplied through the host, with safety shutdown and flow assurance systems integrated into the Halfdan hub’s process controls. Export infrastructure routes gas predominantly to Tyra West and oil via established pipelines to Gorm and Dan installations. Stable features include fixed jacket supports, subsea tie-backs, corrosion protection, and remote instrumentation.
